Grateful, Thankful, Blessed! Those are words often heard in October, as we celebrate Thanksgiving. To whom are you grateful? For what are you thankful? How many ways are you blessed?
As we strive to fulfill our obligations to family, work, friends and ourselves, we need to stop and consider those questions.
I'm grateful to my hubby, Dave. He's stuck with me for 35 years, 33 married in October. The man deserves a medal! Lol. I'm thankful for so many things – family first, then friends and finally, work that pays the bills and other work that is fulfilling.
My blessings are many – much love from family and friends, food everyday and shelter.
As always, we support the Sharing Place with food donations and various outreach non-profit groups with our Toonies for Toiletries.
Happy Thanksgiving!
On another note, the Orillia Chamber of Commerce is having a Trade Expo to celebrate Small Business week. The OBWA is taking booth to help promote our group, and we invite current members to sign up for an hour or two. It's being held Thursday Oct. 24, 1-6:30 and Friday Oct. 25, 8:30-4:30.
