The WOTY & YWOTY Gala will be held at Hawkridge Golf Club , 1151 Hurlwood Lane, Severn, ON L3V 0Y6 Doors open at 5:30 pm (no earlier) and no reserved seating. Lots of door prizes and a 50/50 draw.

PLEASE NOTE: All tickets must be purchased by 3PM on May 7, 2025 (no extension). The receipt from your payment is considered your “ticket". You may bring it with you the night of the Gala. Please bring a copy of your receipt the night of the event to receive your ticket(s). Tickets must be purchased in advance before 3pm on May 7th. Each ticket is $75 with an online payment processing fee of $2.40 per ticket which will be added to your total at checkout. Ticket(s) will not be mailed or delivered. We cannot refund a ticket purchase and thus fully non-refundable. Your ticket includes a fully served 3-course meal and the evening gala festivities.
Every year, the OBWA hosts the Nelle Carter Woman of the Year Awards & Lisa Brooking Young Woman of the Year Awards. The Woman of the Year Award is given to someone respected for her outstanding work in her community, in the workplace, at home, or all three. The Young Woman of the Year must demonstrate high scholastic achievement, participation in extra school activities, volunteer work in the community and be seeking post-secondary education.
We are busily planning our Woman of the Year/Young Woman of the Year Gala and hoping to see all of you in attendance. Wouldn't that be an event to remember!

Nominations for the 2025 Woman of the Year are still open, with forms available on the website. Please submit your candidate before April 15th, 2025.
