I love mottos and sayings, affirmations, many speak to me in many ways. I also collect them in a book so that I will not forget them.Yesterday I volunteered my time to take photographs of Fair Havens Children Ministries. Eighty Six pictures of children in the camp ranging from months old to 10 years of age.It was a blast especially at the splash pad where the all the counselors were dragged, pulled and pushed under the "soaker" water flows coming down intermittently by a hoard of kids. They had a great time. I shared a photograph of one counsellor getting doused. Poor guy!!Only where children gather is there any real chance of fun." I am a big believer in Law of Attraction. Something happened to me this week, something that has happened before but not for a while. I am now a member of Orillia Fine Arts Association which, since I joined, has opened a number of doors for me. One of those is that I have been able to exhibit two of my photographs in the medical centre on Memorial Avenue in Orillia. After they were dropped off for hanging I was reflecting on how neat and exciting it was to be able to go in and see MY pictures posted for the public to see.Then I got to thinking and this warm, happy feeling came over me. You see..., before I ever dreamed of having my own photography business, I remembered going into to see my doctor some time in my past (how long ago, I don't remember). I looked at the pictures in the medical centre. I thought to myself at that moment, "wouldn't it be neat to be able to have my work up on that wall someday."At the time I didn't even think what it would be, in what art medium. Then I went on with my day.The recollection was stunning when I realized that it has actually come to be. Again the universe has made it possible for me.Thank you, with all my heart and soul. Hi All:Its coming around again..Starry Night Art tour in Orillia, August 24 from 7 to 11 PM. I will be showing a few of my pieces at Hibernation Arts on Peter Street. I will also have some more pictures exhibited with Orillia Fine Arts Association on the third floor of the museum.You just gotta come and check out my pictures.I set a goal to be part of the Starry Night evening at the beginning of 2019, and I have met my goal.
