In 2019 I am branching out into a new niche as well as the other photography I do.I am a photographer that values the importance of your older relatives. I worked in the long term care health sector for many years.I take memories that are frozen in time of a loved older family members, capturing their magic now and a glimpse of who they once were. Be it catching a twinkle in their eyes or an all-knowing smile.Families of loved ones with dementia and disease suffer from loss and grief while their loved ones live on, a shell of what they once were.I give them pictures and memories to ease their loss especially once the person passes.
I am branching out to portraiture photography with my nature shots. I love the spontaneity of candid people shots versus posed shots. My services will be opening up to family photos, children and animal pictures.
With a long career history working in long term care I have a great interest in elderly people. I particularly would like to give back and help families of aging loved ones with dementia to have long lasting memories after the person passes. To do that I want to take pictures of elderly loved ones, capturing special shots that reflect the person inside.
