Heartworms are spaghetti-like parasites, that when a pet is infected can result in severe lung disease, heart failure, other organ damage, and death in pets; mainly dogs, cats, and ferrets. Happy Tuesday! Recently we got the chance to meet Drake, and look how sweet he is! Drake was a little nervous at first, coming into a new place and meeting lots of new faces, but after some yummy treats and good scratches he started to warm up (especially once he got to steal dad's chair!).
