Vice-President’s Message May 2024
Happy Spring! It's the most wonderful time of the year as my golf season started!
Whew! What a busy month we're having-the Gala Committee is working at full tilt, getting everything ready for a Star-filled night.
Here's how you can help:
1. Attend! We would love to have as many members as possible attend the Gala!
2. Donate a door prize - contact anyone on the Committee and they'll help it get to the right place. Leah Cavenaugh is looking after this, so feel free to call her directly.
3. Sponsorship: Gold, Silver or Bronze are the levels you can donate online. If they don't work for you, contact one of us and we'll get you sorted out.
JUNE ELECTIONS: Keep in mind that we need several positions filled. We also need a 3 year plan as I don't plan to be President forever!!!! We need 4 or 5 people. Talk to any one of us - we're a friendly, co-operative group.

Ticket price is $70 for a 3 course Prime Rib Dinner & a Vegetarian Option of Cauliflower Steak
(please specify if you are choosing the Vegetarian dinner). Gala will be held at
Mariposa Best Western Inn & Conference Centre, Memorial Ave. Orillia
Emcee for the evening will be Radio Personality Carey Moran
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. (early arrivals will have to wait in the lobby)
Entertaining from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm will be Harpist Rachel
6:30 p.m. -Dinner will be served

our June 12th Dinner meeting which is also our OBWA Annual General Meeting

Starting at our October meeting and running until September 2024 we will be honouring our OBWA members in good standing with Birthdays in that month. When you attend our Dinner Meeting the month of your Birthday we will waive your $5 event fee. Those having Birthdays in May, June, July and August will have their event fee waived accordingly. Please make sure you let Susan Zaroski know the month of your Birthday so she can get you on our Birthday Month list. She will be sitting at the door at the meeting to take the information from you or if you wish please e-mail your Birthday Month to Networking@OrilliaBusinessWomen.com
Please note: Memberships were due September 1st , 2023 & need to be paid for you to be a member in good standing. $100 membership fee will keep you a member in good standing until August 31,2024 . Members have the privilege of posting on social media & have their information about their business and themselves on our website as well as posting on Face Book.
