Hello everyone,

The Gala is upon us!!!! 

Wednesday June 8th, 2022.  We’ve come a long way in the last 2 years.  Very exciting to once again have our in person Gala with Carey Moran graciously agreeing to be our emcee for the evening.  And we have 5 wonderful and delightful nominees to honour.  

I hope we see many of you there.  Tickets are limited so don’t miss out and help us fill our 2022 Gala!!  We have lots to celebrate.

The Best Western PLUS Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre, 400 Memorial Ave. Orillia, Ontario.
Doors open at 5:30pm (no earlier) and no reserved seating. Lots of door prizes. 

Dinner Menu:  Signature Salad; Baby Spinach topped with grape tomatoes, strawberries and served with a sweet onion vinaigrette

                         Slow Roasted Beef with natural jus, horseradish, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables 

                         New York Style Cheesecake with fresh berries

The OBWA is now changing when our annual membership fee of $100 will be due. All members will have a renewal date of Sept. 1^st. each year for their annual membership.   The majority of our members have not paid their dues during the pandemic. Those members will need to renew their memberships starting January 1, 2022 for a pro-rated amount of $60. That will put the member in good standing from Jan.1, 2022 until Sept.1, 2022.  Then on Sept. 1, 2022 everyone will pay their membership dues which will cover their membership for Sept.1, 2022  until September 1, 2023.  Members have the privilege of posting on social media & have their information about their business and themselves on our website as well as posting on FB.. Non-members can attend meetings though without the other privileges. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact one of our executive members.
