APRIL 2020 ORILLIA BUSINESS WOMEN'S NETWORKING DINNER MEETING
The Orillia Business Women’s Association (OBWA) meets every second Wednesday of the Month (September thru June) at the Best Western PLUS Mariposa INN and Conference Centre at 400 Memorial Ave. Orillia for networking events, fun and delicious food.
OBWA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
At our March executive meeting this past Monday, during our discussion regarding the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic the executive members in attendance came to a decision to cancel our April dinner meeting. We want to keep all our women safe and will exercise all the necessary measures to do so. We have also decided to cancel the Woman/Young Woman of the Year gala event BUT we will still be accepting nomination packages until the cutoff which is March 31 as we still plan to have a celebration of the recipients and nominees for 2020. We are still in the planning stages regarding this event since our typical planning schedule has been changed significantly with the pandemic situation. We will keep you posted on our May dinner. We thank you for your patience, cooperation and support. Please keep posting on face book as we want to be supportive of everyone especially those who have businesses and/or services. Follow the group on face book for details on the upcoming WOTY event as we will still be asking for your assistance. Stay safe everyone.

The Business of the Month can be you so do not forget if you are a member in good standing to bring your business cards to the meetings. OBWA members will once again have the opportunity to be chosen as the Feature Business of the Month.
If your business card is chosen, it will be featured on the OBWA website,
and you will have the opportunity to showcase your business
at the following month’s networking dinner with a 5-minute presentation. Good Luck to you all!
If you have any Marketing Material you would like to display at our meeting, please feel free to do so - we just ask that when you leave for the evening that you take any left over material with you

Note: We cannot accept late registrations after 3 p.m. on the Friday before our Dinner Meeting
No walk-ins and NO CANCELLATIONS will be accepted after the date and time noted and you will be invoiced for the cost of your missed dinner. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding as your meal would otherwise have to be paid for out of OBWA funds. If you have any allergies or dietary preferences you must let us know in your email at the time you RSVP. Sorry NO ATM on site.

Every month the OBWA accepts Toonies for Tampons donations of money or personal hygiene aids for women that are then donated to a different charity in need
on behalf of our wonderful group of women!
