Deployed to South Sudan for a 1-year Peacekeeping Mission with the RCMP, Tracey Coghlin, an OPP VICLAS Sergeant (Violent Crime Linkage Analysis System) returns home a changed person.
Tracey’s goal is to raise awareness of global issues and victims’ issues in other countries. She will share with us, her life changing Journey experience to South Sudan. Tracey will emphasize on the value of volunteering (locally or elsewhere) and how it can contribute to change.
Tracey’s plight in life is to help vulnerable girls overseas. Tracey says “Everyone can have a plight...whether it is volunteering for your kids breakfast program, walking dogs for the Humane Society, or just being a good person and neighbour.” CLICK to >>READ MORE...

The OBWA Executive Committee would like to extend a very big THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered their time and participated in the Salvation Army Kettle Bell Ringing on Dec. 19th. it was a great success.
We would also like to thank all our OBWA Members and visitors who attended our OBWA Christmas Party, it was a wonderful evening and we raised over $340.00 from the bake sale and Toonie Toss, all of which was donated to The Lighthouse Soup Kitchen & Shelter, GREAT JOB!!!
