Our newly appointed (mid-January) Executive Director, Jennifer Ramsey, had the pleasure of presenting about Telecare Distress Line of Greater Simcoe, who we are and what we do, to the Rotary Club of Penetanguishine today. Next, Jennifer will be presenting to the Barrie Rotary Club at the end of the month and is excited to share more information about our great organization!

Jennifer is wanting to give a special thank you to the Rotary Club of Penetanguishine for hosting, as well as a shout out to all of our volunteers and Board Members at Telecare Distress Lines who work so diligently to ensure our organization runs smoothly. Your work does not go unnoticed, and it is much appreciated.
Join us for our Winter Silent Auction and Fundraiser Thurs. Dec. 5 - Sun. Dec. 8!
Auction items will be posted on our main Facebook page, and the Silent Auction will be taking place virtually. Bids are placed by commenting on the photo of the item that you would like, ensuring to bid higher than the previous comments before you.
Auction ends Sunday December 8 at 5:00pm. All items will be available through local pick-up in Orillia, Ontario.
Do you have something to donate to our auction? A great exposure opportunity for small businesses, local artists, or any individual looking to make an impact in the area of community mental wellness. Send us a message for more info.
Our Sponsor a Line Summer Fundraiser is live! We have a big goal to cover 6 months of operational expenses by September. Every little bit helps - a $2 donation funds us for 1 hour. A $48 donation means one more day of Telecare, to keep our 24/7 distress line up and running for those in our community who need a listening ear. Follow along on social media, or check out our Progress Bar for weekly updates on the Make a Donation page of our website.
Join us as we celebrate our 45th Anniversary in Simcoe County! Invite your friends and family; all are welcome. Refreshments and entertainment by the OPP Chorus will be provided. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about Telecare Canada and Telecare of Greater Simcoe during our AGMs (or feel free to leave after the music and break).
