GLA:D PROGRAM: This is Susan. Susan started out as a patient with Orillia Sports Medicine’s GLA:D program for osteoarthritis and as well as doing nutritional counseling & manual therapy on her knee. She was able to make amazing strides in terms of increasing her strength, decreasing her pain and blood pressure. Following her knee replacement surgery, she was promptly back in the gym, working very hard on her recovery on a daily basis! All her hard work paid off in spades! Susan has had one of the best surgical outcomes that any of our therapists has seen and has achieved 140 degrees of knee flexion!! She continues to work hard towards her full recovery and prepare for a future replacement on her other knee. Keep up the great work Susan!!
