Scales Nature Park is a 21 hectare conservation area located just south of Orillia, Ontario. The focus of this facility is the conservation of reptiles, amphibians, and fish, and the habitats that these animals require.

Your kids will love seeing the cultural offerings available on site at Scales Nature Park's great centre in Oro-Medonte, ON. If you're looking to add more culture in your life, make your way over to Scales Nature Park and enjoy a day of discovery...

Exhibits and hands-on educational programs featuring live reptiles, amphibians and fish of Canada, and from around the world. Nature trails and outdoor programs about ecology and conservation. Small gift shop. Group rates for schools, camps, scouts & guides, etc.

Our wildlife conservation facility has been open to the public since our Grand Opening in the spring of 2010. Scales Nature Park provides unsurpassed opportunities to learn about native Canadian reptiles, amphibians, and fish.

Scales Nature Park was purchased in 2002 by Jeff Hathaway and Jenny Pearce, operators of Sciensational Sssnakes!! since 1994. Jenny has since moved Sciensational Sssnakes!! http://www.scisnake.com/ back to Guelph. We continue to collaborate on some conservation education efforts.
