Birthday Parties

Have your birthday party at Scales!  Or, we can bring the reptiles to your home! Share the experience of amazing animals with your friends!

Birthday parties at Scales start with a chance to explore the exhibit hall, and then move up into the Discovery Room for an exclusive program with one of our staff.  After learning more about wildlife and some time for questions, everyone can get up close and personal with some of the creatures.  Touching or holding a lizard or snake is a highlight of the day for most people!  Be sure to bring your camera!

After the program, everyone is welcome to spend more time in the exhibit hall, or head out to the picnic area for refreshments (bring your own).

Birthday parties are 1.5 hours long, with a cost of $200+HST for up to 15 kids.  Advance booking is required.   Loot bags are available as an option, just tell us the cost per bag (typically $5-$10) that you would like and we’ll put them together.  Longer programs are available by special request. Parties at your home, like all outreach programs, are subject to a travel charge of $40/ hour of round-trip driving time.
