Kids Bedroom Painting

Description

Children grow up so fast so why not make their bedroom a fun memorable experience while they are still kids.
A splash of colour can go a long way and create a very fun dramatic environment.
A great way from preventing your children from drawing pictures on your walls is to paint them a chalkboard and let the creativity flow. The possibilities are endless, all you have to do is think like a kid for a moment and have some fun.

The follow the same preparation steps as we would for any other room in the house.

Preparation Work
  • All the areas to be painted are cleaned and wiped down.
  • Walls are gently scuff-sanded.
  • Holes or cracks are filled in, sanded smooth, and spot primed.
  • Trim tape is applied where necessary.
Painting Process
  • The surfaces to be painted are primed if required.
  • The paint colours are confirmed with the customer to make sure it is the colour that you chose.
  • Edges of walls and trim are carefully cut-in with hand held brushes.
  • The first coat of paint is applied to the surfaces using brushes or rollers.
  • Once the surface has dried a second or third coat is applied to ensure an even coverage and a perfect saturation of colour.
Clean-Up
  • Work areas are swept and vacuumed.
  • Furniture is put back in its place.
  • Remaining paints are left with the customer for future touch-ups.
  • Used materials such as plastic or tape are properly disposed of.
  • We make sure that the customer is happy with our job.
Our job is not finished with the last drop of paint on the walls or ceilings.
The clean-up is as important as the painting itself.
