Preparation Process
- All surfaces that are not being painted are protected with plastic and drop cloths. This is done to protect the area from paint splatters but also from flaking paint that is being removed during preparation.
- All surfaces are sanded down (only if required).
- Remove all flaking paint, blisters, and rust.
- Fill gaps, cracks, and fix all imperfection if possible.
- Prime all bare timbers and fillers prior to painting.
