Based on how much time we spend in the kitchen, it has been referred to as the heart of the home.
The easiest and most effective way to make a drastic difference in your kitchen is to paint your kitchen cupboards.
Kitchen cabinets are often very expensive to replace if you no longer like the look of your kitchen.
Choosing to paint your kitchen cabinets is a step towards increasing the value of your home without the expensive and time consuming kitchen renovations. At Pure Prism we follow a regular set of steps as we prepare to paint your kitchen.
These steps are as follows:

• All the surfaces to be painted are cleaned and wiped down to remove the dust and grease.
• All the doors and drawer front plates are removed from the cabinets and the hinges are removed from the doors.
• The doors are gently sanded down to prepare them for paint and remove any scratches or dents if possible.
• The painting surfaces will be primed if required.
• All the paintable surfaces will receive at least two coats of high quality paint either from the line of Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.
• Once the painted surfaces are dry the hinges are reinstalled and the doors and drawer fronts installed back on the cabinets.
