Sarah Cayouette, Veterinary Technician

Sarah started with us part time in January of 2019 while completing her second year of the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College. She has since graduated and is now working full time while studying for her exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

From a very young age Sarah expressed interest in animals and decided early on, she wanted to work towards a career where she would be involved in their well-being. She originally pursued this dream by attending the University of Guelph and getting her BSc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. Although wildlife will always have her heart, she made the switch to Veterinary Technician when she realized that the world of scientific research was not for her.

She now lives in the countryside of Bracebridge with her boyfriend and her very stubborn Cocker Spaniel named Molly. They all enjoy spending their time outside, going fishing, kayaking, camping, and having campfires. Molly’s favourite game is chasing the ATV!
