As the leader in Portable Sawmill Innovation, Norwood has shipped over 45,000 sawmills from Oro-Medonte to sawyers in over 100 countries worldwide.  Every day hardworking and resourceful outdoorsmen, craftsmen, farmers and hobbyists put our Norwood Sawmills to work producing lumber and building materials using the resources all around them.  And we’re just as proud of what our customers build as we are of our roots and connections to this community.  Norwood proudly employees over 100 people in the manufacturing, sales and support of our North American made products.  So, while the company has grown, our mission remains the same: To empower people everywhere to build their best futures through wood and their natural environment.
