About Us

In the small ‘ghost town’ of Uhthoff in Severn Township (just 12 km from downtown Orillia as the crow flies), you’ll come upon Maple Grove Syrup & Sleigh Rides. Within this 50-acre sugar bush of towering maple trees, we produce pure maple syrup on a traditional wood-fired evaporator. Our trees have produced high-quality maple syrup for generations.

Come join us at Maple Grove Syrup & Sleigh Rides in Severn Township this winter for tractor drawn Sleigh Rides.

We are offering 1.5 hour experiences which includes a sleigh ride through our sugar bush, and a stop at the sugar camp where you can enjoy a hot chocolate and warm your toes next to a bonfire!

COVID precautions are in place and as such we are pre-booking all of our rides this year (we will not be accepting drop-ins).
