We are a group of senior men from Couchinging Point, who eat out together, every week. The Blue Moon is one of favourite places to eat. The food is always great and the menu has lots of variety. The staff have always been very helpful and pleasant. It's well worth the drive.

I have NEVER had a better breakfast; even at home. It was only beacon and eggs, but they were perfect. My son had an omelet and he had equal words for it. This was the first time I have had a breakfast having had a lunch many times. Each time it has been great.

We arrived at the restaurant at about 11:40 am travelling from Bracebridge based on a recommendation of friends who told us it had a good breakfast menu.

The restaurants web site stated
and the server confirmed that the site said breakfast was served until 2:00pm.
We were advised by the server that breakfast was only served to noon.
There was no signs posted setting that out.

I pointed out as we were leaving that it was 12:03 but no accommodation was offered or made. I did get a “sorry”.

Seems to me the restaurant should change the online site and staff should be allowed to accommodate customers who (a) were seated prior to noon
(b) were specifically relying on the website.
Obviously management is not doing a very good job at maintaining customer satisfaction. Very disappointing.

We eat here every time we are “up north “ and they have never disappointed! This could be the best breakfast place in Ontario (maybe even Canada)!

Just picked up curry butter chicken boat and there is no Chicken!!!!!!! ....couple pineapple pieces, maybe 5 snowpeas and a few cashews, but lots of rice. Have to drive it back...lucky we lived close!

We've eaten at Blue Moon numerous times since moving to the area. We have never had a bad meal.. not once! The food is excellent and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Food was great, kitchen staff was prompt with food orders. Our sever was not prompt, had to wave her down to get attention for condiments and drinks, restaurant wasn’t busy when we were there. Her attitude overall was not pleasant. Our dining experience would have been far better if our server was more attentive and had a better attitude

Had dinner with friends from Washago last night and enjoyed the fabulous food and atmosphere. Enjoyed the BEST Smoky BBQ ribs in my life, and I've eaten ribs all across our Great Country. We will be visiting again really soon. 5 STARS

We usually stop at Webers on the way home from our cottage on Riley Lake, but on this day (July 17), we thought we would try something different. We did stop here two years ago and were satisfied with the food ad service then, so we paid them another visit. I have to say, the four in our party were absolutely thrilled with the food and service. I had a club sandwich which is something that is hard to find these days. Some restaurants label a sandwich as a club, but what they serve is nothing but. The fries served with it were excellent as well. I gave them a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The others in my party had something else, but I don't know how to spell it out. Regardless, they each agreed that it was equally great. The staff make eating there also a pleasure. I recall that the last time we were there (about two years ago) the staff was jovial and always smiling. Even though I thought they were the same servers, I was wrong. However, the enthusiasm from the past staff must be ingrained in this establishment. They were all wonderful. We will return.

I just want to say that the staff at this restaurant is AMAZING….we come in quiet regularly and have never been disappointed. We came in 7/10/2022 and it was so busy for the ladies and they still had amazing attitudes even after dealing with non-local customers…a huge shout out to all the staff!!

As it was Canada day I called ahead to ask if they were open and if it was busy. The person answering the phone said “well yeah!" The place looked nice online so we decided to try it out! We arrived and it wasn't busy at all, we were seated and placed our orders, just as we did this…… it got busy!! We sat and waited for our food, this was taking a a while so, we had to ask for refills on our coffee and waited about ten minutes after our request for them to bring a top up; but they were busy so we totally understood Now time went on and on with no food. At one point our server did come over and say “should not be much longer and sorry for the wait", as I said it was busy so we said that's OK we understand and she went about her way. Now it's going on an hour of waiting, and we started noticing the tables that came in long after we did where getting their food ? and tables are being cleared and new customers were coming in and they were getting their food? We have now been well over an hour and ask again how long it was going to be? She said shouldn't be too much longer And she'll go check. She came back out and asked what did you order again? We told her our orders and she left again, only to find out that she never even put our order in?? we got up we offered to pay for a coffee and the chocolate milk our son drink and left. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant that lack accountability no offer of anything as a show of customer service or to just make us feel better. Just a lacklustre apology and we did not pay for a chocolate milk and 2 coffees I do not recommend this place based on the way they handle their mistakes, I cannot speak to the food and the atmosphere was lovely I never tried the food in the almost hour and half we waited, but reading some other reviews it seemed as they had more great ones, to a few bad ones. I have managed hospitality and other staffing for close to 30 years. My wife was a server in a tourist town and we never would left a customer feeling so unappreciated. As I mentioned the have some great reviews but we are judged and remembered for our failures, learn from this and do better

I am so sorry. This is not normal for us. What had happened is the kitchen chit printer ran out of paper and about 10 orders never went through. When they discovered it they scrambled to the computers to reprint chits and figure out which orders did not print. In the meantime, other tables were being rung in. The staff were embarrassed and stressed out and perhaps did not deal with the problem properly. With a lack of kitchen staff in our business, we are all struggling to get food out without exhausting the staff gracious enough to come to work. Once again, my apologies from myself and all of my staff. I hope you will give us another shot in the future.

Went tonight for a family birthday party. All 7 of us enjoyed our meals. The steak was cooked to perfection! The Pernod Shrimp Bowl was delicious as were the ribs/wings, fish & chips, wrap and burger! The potions were generous and the prices were reasonable. Our server, Laura, was delightful!

We stopped on our way for breakfast. Such a lovely place. My kids loved it! My daughter said it was her favourite bacon. The portion sizes were big. Lots of selection and lovely staff. If we are ever up here again we will definitely stop.

Thanks for making my 75th birthday extra special! Diana and her staff are beyond excellent - friendly, responsive and professional to the max. The beer is cold, the food is excellent, and the patio is welcoming, plus there's live jazz on Sunday afternoons this August.

This is the first time to order online here. Three of us decided to try their Wings on Wednesday and each and every one of the pounds of wings had mostly WING wings as opposed to DRUMSTICKS. I had spoken to Lisa on the phone before p/up and was told their wings are JUMBO but if they were any smaller they wouldn't even exist ! I had Dusted Cajun and the seasoning was fine but the wing bones just broke apart when you picked them up - the driest wings I have ever eaten. Now the other 2 people have voiced the same about the size and dryness on the Cajun wings and the Hot Wings apparently tasted average to him. We will not be returning to support Blue Moon Junction as we were really hyped up after speaking with Lisa about their Jumbo wings and we walked away disappointed and feeling RIPPED OFF !

Thank you for letting us know there was an issue. We certainly are not in the business of ripping off our customers. We have been having supplier issues with the size of the wings we are accustomed to. When this happens we add more wings to the order to ensure you receive a pound of wings your paying for. Overcooking may have happened as we are training new junior cooks as we are preparing to open. Thank you for letting me know. We are very good at solving problems with just a phone call and we appreciate the feedback. Please call in and leave your phone number so I can rectify the unsatisfactory experience. I am looking for a new wing supplier now.

I love this place! Been 3 times in the last few months (twice dine-in, once pick-up), I ordered different menu items each time, and every time was fantastic. Big, clean, safe, beautifully renovated, perfect service, and delicious all three times. A local gem!

Their menu for the Flavours of Lake Country was excellent! The food was great and the tables were arranged for physical distancing. The service was very good and our waitress, Sarah, was very attentive, friendly and excellent at her job!

A friend and I went to dinner last night, first time dining in a restaurant for awhile. We ordered a bottle of red wine and our server brought us wet glasses to make sure there wasn't any dust and then shook the glasses on the floor. We ordered a burger and fries and a roast beef sandwich with a soup. We waited 45 minutes for our food, there were few people in the restaurant with no explanation from our server. Our food finally arrived with fries on both plates. We then asked for ketchup which did not arrive till we asked again. We were not given our bill so we went up front to pay and left. Our server then followed us outside to say we left a dollar on the table and she didn't really need it! My friend and I are former servers and we thought the tip was justified. On the positive side the restaurant looks great and the food was delicious!

I have been coming here for a few years now weekly in the summer after golf. Since the switch in ownership and some staff last year, this place is now one of my favourites!
The staff are friendly and accommodating. The new Reno’s look great and inviting.

We saw that this restaurant was getting renovated and had new owners so decided to try it out. So glad we did. You can see the amazing improvements already and imagine how it will look when totally done. The food was great, service amazing and we met the owner Diana and she was super nice too. This place rocks! Amazing business owner! She’s super dedicated and personable. Her staff are awesome and they’re happy, which says a lot! You feel so welcome as soon as you walk in. She’s working super hard to spruce this place up and I’ve already noticed the huge improvement! It’s going to be amazing! Karaoke is always a hit, and the food is delish! Right now you can even order your take-out, beer included, and head out to the picnic area. Sounds like a perfect sunny afternoon date to me. ??

My husband and I decided to try out Blue Moon Junction Restaurant on Hwy 11 S, just a few km outside the Community of Washago today for brunch. We were not dissapointed! We were greeted immediately by friendly staff and were welcomed to choose a table of our choice. Our server, Elisa, (aka: Jupiter) came to our table with a big smile and a warm welcome. She helped us with our menu inquiries and made suggestions. My husband had their breakfast selection and I had a toasted Chicken Club sandwich on my joice of bread along with their Greek Salad. Both of us were served at the same time and my sandwich toast was still warm. WOW...is what we both said as we ate our dinners in complete satisfaction. The chicken was real, the cheddar cheese was real...not processed. And yes, this sandwich was assembled with three slices of toast as it is meant to be. The restaurant and washrooms were both very clean. I am thinking that if anyone had a complaint at this eatery, they should mention it right away so it could be addressed right there rather than giving a negative review behind an electronic device. Went for lunch with friends, very disappointed with the furniture, chairs were ripped beyond. Generally unclean. Prices on the menu way to high for the type of restaurant . We will never go back nor will we recommend this place to anyone.

I am just as disappointed in the state of this building as you are. Just an update, the upholstery fabric arrived today. The new rollup blinds are custom order so we have to wait. Currently working on drawings for proper entrances among other important property and structural changes to come. I have to run everything by the Township. Not sure what you mean by "type of restaurant"? The breakfast menu is the same as its always been but yes it will be updated shortly also. Stay tuned and visit us in a few months. I am sure you will have a better experience.
