I would highly recommend Jonathan Ryczko. We needed significant structural renovations to our century home's foundation. Jonathan and his son did an excellent job removing the damaged materials and making our home structurally sound. He stuck to his projected cost and timeline. He clearly communicated with us about the project start date and kept us informed along the way with daily progress updates. Now that the project is complete the exterior of our house looks beautiful and our foundation is solid. We are extremely pleased with his work and would be happy to contract him again in the future.

Ryczko Windows and Doors did an excellent when replacing a window and installing our new front door. Jonathan is a very honest, conscientious and highly competent tradesperson. He takes great pride in his work and in the service he provides. He is prompt to respond to any of my inquiries and was on schedule with his timelines. I would certainly recommend him to anyone. In today’s day and age it is difficult to find a person with such skill and integrity.

I met Jonathan through a mutual friend. Jonathan provided me a quotation, ordered, and installed a set of doors both front and patio. Jonathan came this past Friday to install the doors. He and his crew took just the day to install them. His work was immaculate, and was very concerned about keeping my house clean from the dirt/dust. He went the extra mile in by doing some finishing touches that one would not have noticed, and answered questions not related to the install. Thank you Jonathan the doors are so beautiful! Was so impressed with Jonathan and his crew.  I recently had my front door replaced and Jonathan was so amazing to deal with.  He was very patient and answered all my questions.   He kept me posted throughout the whole process - and did his best even with all of the covid delays for materials. I can highly recommend Jonathan for window and door work.
I hired him to clad the exterior of two garage door frames in aluminum to render then maintenance free.
I sent him a couple of photos of the job and he showed up with 17 different colours to select from. The first we selected was a complete match.
The work he did was exemplary as was his demeanor.
I'm very happy with the job he has done and i would gladly hire hi for future projects.

It was a fortunate day for us when we came across Jonathan and his company. What we thought we had was a large window installation project. 14 windows plus double doors all on one wall! After conferring with Jonathan, what we realized we needed was a complete exterior wall reframe, waterproofing, restrap and re-side as well.

This story takes awhile but worth the read. Our project was a difficult task for several reasons. Windows were large (most over 6ft x 6ft) triple panes so they were extremely heavy. The 8 ft palladium window itself was over 800lbs! With wrap around decks and a narrow side access, there was no room for lifting equipment...everything had to be lifted manually. Did I mention it was installed over 20 feet up the wall?

The install was further complicated by windows that had been sized wrong (by another vendor). This meant 10 window openings had to be reframed...a task that added 3 days to the 10-day project.

In the end we now have a completely sealed western-facing wall of windows to protect us from Mother Nature and Geo Bay.

Jonathan doesn't just supervise...he was lifting, directing and ensuring everything was done to his very high standard. He also personally cut and formed the aluminum casings for every window.

His prime crew, Jimmy and Jason, were spectacular and the additional muscle brought in for 2 days of heavy lifting were awesome.

Everyone was friendly, respectful, clean and did they work hard! No late starts or short days for this team of pros.

A job this scale is expensive but moreso stressful as it unfolds with new challenges daily. Jonathan and his guys never got down or frustrated. They soldiered on and got 'er done, always with a smile and a positive attitude. And his Playlists are something of legend. Ha

Jonathan is a much sought after resource. Now we know why. His attention to detail is amazing and problem-solving impressive. Lift an 800 lb window over 20 feet in the air with no mechanical help? No problem.

We cannot recommend Jonathan more highly. Book him, be prepared perhaps to wait a bit. But you'll never regret it, not for one second.

We are happy to recommend Jonathan’s workmanship. He built a four season sunroom for us and made our dream come true. His quality of work is excellent and he takes pride in doing a top quality job. All the products he uses are top quality and he doesn’t cut corners. He always communicated with us as to what was happening on a daily basis and was respectful of our home. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.

We had Jonathon install all new windows in our house. The installation went very well and we were extremely satisfied with the service and the products installed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Jonathon again for any of the services he provides.

July 2019 - we had Jonathan update our cottage by replacing windows, replacing soffit and fascia, and installing eavestroughes. We are very happy with the end product. Jonathan was easy to communicate with, his was easy to deal with in finalizing job scope and materials, he was on time and on budget and his workmanship was of great quality. As we watched Jon and Dave replace all the siding and existing windows in our neighbours house, we were very impressed and decided to do something about our own foggy windows and ancient front entrance. After a short conversation we hired Jon on the spot. His quote was reasonable and delivery time for the windows was good. He stayed in touch and kept his word, arriving on the agreed upon date. He and Dave made short work of the job but were careful and meticulous. We love our new windows and front entrance!! As a retired contractor myself, I have only two words to describe him, "honest broker" and wish him all the best in the future!

In April 2015 we hired Jonathan Ryczko to replace a front window in our summer home in the Lafontaine Beach area. We knew that there was a leak issue but not to the extent found out well into the installation. Yes there was a leak coming into the house but it was not from the window, rather poor construction practices from the original contractor who built the house. With a gaping hole in the front of the house, rotting wood and an infestation of carpenter ants, Jonathan sprung into action. The front of my cottage was returned to its original splendor and at the same time he coordinated a roofing company to install the roofing tile properly. I took my time to write this report for fear the problem would return. It hasn’t! Bravo Jonathan! Not only are you a man of his craft but a sleuth at trouble shooting! I wish you the best. Jonathan did an amazing job replacing some windows in our old farm house, he encountered many obstacles with the frames and the construction and the finished product was wonderful, the house is so much warmer. We would highly recommend Jonathan for any of your projects.

Jonathan and his helper Rob did a renovation on a basement bathroom at our house. I cannot emphasize enough on how good of a job they did. My wife and I were both very happy with how it turned out and would definitely consider Ryczko for any other jobs we want done in the future. Jonathan even went as far as to come back to our house late one night (on his own time I might add) just to help fix a small leak that was not even caused by him or his workers. On top of everything, they stayed within the budget that we gave them which was assured would happen through the whole process. Again, I cannot thank these guys enough!

The first thing my wife and I liked was his quick response to our phone call to get a quote. Jonathan was over to our place within the week. He helped us figure out what would be the best kind of siding and added construction for our home and had great ideas to fix up past add-on to the house. He was exact with all his work and always kept us informed with progress and if he ran into any difficulties. He is very professional, a great guy and has great business habits. Would definitely recommended him and his work.

Jonathon and his crew recently finished a complete renovation of our attic. We are thrilled with the finished space. Jonathon organized all the other trades well so that the whole project was finished on time, and on budget. They were also great at keeping the mess in the rest of the house to a bare minimum, and tidying up any mess they did make! We will definitely ask him to do our windows when the time comes!

Had Jonathan and his helper in recently to replace some very tired basement windows. The way the original windows were installed made for a very complicated job. Ryczo came prepared to handle any of many probable complications and as a result had the work done on time and on budget. Wait there's more!! Johnathan also took the time to adjust our main entrance door set which he had installed a couple of years earlier. He claimed it was sticky - which it was - and it bugged him. So late on a Friday afternoon they took the extra time - about an hour - to make that work right. We're very happy.
